Porcelain

Porcelain has been around for hundreds of years and will continue to be a strong force in collectable dolls for many years to come.

I have been working in porcelain for over ten years. This has been a love hate relationship for me due to how temperamental this medium can be. But there is no denying its softness, beauty and durability.

I pride myself in using only the finest of materials. From the hand blown German glass eyes, the beautiful human hair or mohair wigs to the leather shoes. I try to use antique materials or accessories when ever possible to try to capture that small moment of a time gone by.
