Winter Gift  Winter’s Gift is a 14” resin doll with a wavy auburn mohair wig and hand painted eyes. Her shawl and cap were hand crocheted. She pulls a sleigh with a basket of ripe green apples that she generously offers one of them to you as her ‘Winters Gift”

Special Friends  Special Friends was inspired by a wonderfully encouraging lady who just loves “brass horses”. Standing next to her vintage brass horse, this tiny little girl is 4.5” tall with red mohair braids, glass eyes and handmade shoes. She is a full body sculpt that will stand alone, with movable arms to hug her special friend.

Time to Play “Time to Play” is what she seems to say! A simple little toy will make for a fun day.

This cute little girl is ten inches tall and stands alone on her delicate bare feet. In her tiny hands she holds a hand made toy of polymer clay and beads adorned with tiny jingle bells. Her pale blonde wispy pigtails accentuates her big brown eyes and innocent expression. She was sculpted from polymer clay over a strong armature with a cloth body.

Angelina  Her delicate features framed by her soft auburn curls and soulful hand painted green eyes make you believe she could be an angel! She sits ever so gingerly on her moss green velvet and pearl tufted stool. In one of her tiny hands she holds a bouquet of roses, in the other a beautiful card. She is dressed in all antique cotton fabric and laces, tied at her wrist by tiny silk ribbon bows. The pearls adorning her neck are hand strung real pearls. Angelina is 14" hand sculpted from polymer clay over strong armatures and a cloth body.

Sweet Treats  So many Sweets and too many Treats is what this little girl seems to be saying. She has enjoyed her lollypop so much that she can not put it down, but now it is time for a long nap. Her blonde mohair curl have gotten a bit mussed with all the fun she has had today. Sweet Treats has been sculpted from polymer clay over strong armatures with a soft cloth body.

Sail Away  Let's Sail Away is what this little boy is asking! He is sitting with a colorful sail boat and is just waiting for someone to come play with him and Sail Away on a new adventure! He is dressed in his blue and white checked suit with his tam all ready to go. Sail Away is hand sculpted in polymer clay over a strong armature with movable arms and legs.

Best Loved Doll  Best Loved Doll was created from my memories of my “Best Loved Doll” The book “Best Loved Doll” was written by Rebecca Caudill in 1962. This was the first book I remember reading as a young child. I so identified with this book because I would drag my ugly, worn out doll, that “only a mommy could love” everywhere.

To have a doll so close to my heart chosen as a Doty, Industry Choice award thru Doll Reader Magazine at IDEX 2008 and nominated for a people’s choice award, has thrilled me beyond words.

When in Doubt  While sculpting this little face, immediately she spoke to me and told me what she was thinking. I truly believe it is a very valuable lesson we should all listen to when faced with any kind of choice, big or small…Listen to our conscious and ALWAYS LOOK UP!!

I was extremely proud to learn that When in Doubt was also chosen for a Doty, Industry Choice award thru Doll Reader at IDEX 2008. She too is a nominee for a People’s Choice Award.

The Samuels  Samuel was inspired by an antique photo of a little boy in four different poses. He stands alone at 12” with a cloth body and posable arms. He has hand painted eyes, pale blonde mohair wig with handmade boots and outfit to duplicate the photo.

The first Samuel in the series has been completed in Resin and the second pose will be ready by June. They are both Limited Editions of 5. The other poses will be completed soon, so check back on their progress.
